Jason Christopher Sgobba

I spent three of the most enjoyable years of my life studying photography at the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida. After college I was fortunate enough to be hired by a cruise line where I spent the next six years of my life traveling the world and photographing every opportunity I could. For some reason I have always photographed people and never gave much thought to photographing landscapes. Since moving to Santa Rosa Beach, I have been inspired by my surroundings. Unfortunately, I have noticed the scenery vanishing due to construction and the effects of weather so this has motivated me to take photographs of the beautiful scenes we tend to take for granted. I print them with a sepia tone to give them more of a timeless feel. I hope my photography captures our town in the way you would like to remember it.
